Frontline Film Battle Zones Essay
The video in question relates to FRONTLINE story by James Jones that gives an insight of the unrest in Ukraine. The story depicts the biggest confrontation between United States and Russia after the unrest. The televised program of The Battle for Ukraine shows the two side point of view in the battle for supremacy. From the program, one would not fail to notice the deep seated hatred that is exhibited by the nationalists from Ukraine on the right wing and their relationship to the Nazis which is reflected by the violent Russians separatists on the verge of gaining control of the country.
In the interviews, one of the soldiers and a computer science student indicates that he would do anything to defend his country even through blood. He was only 17 years old and had already turned into a nationalist group. This is the same tactics applied in war tone countries as young people join the fighting in the name of fighting for their motherland. The person he is defending has been placed on the number one most wanted individual in the Russian television. The strategy of their fighting is to capture some of the strong hold cities in the region that are being guarded by the military.
The strategy works in ensuring that they defend these strong holds so as to show that they are still in control. The guerilla tactics are applied to ensure that the statehood is terminated where as the army tries hard to maintain it. All the fronts imply that they are fighting to ensure the safety and supreme of their people. Therefore, they feel that the civil war should be controlled for the civilians to be at peace and safe.
