Situated at the heart of great Lakes, between Canada Trans highway and the interstate of America, this makes the city of Sault Ste a heart for business in the region. It’s positioning and the physical features surrounding it make it the reason behind the prosperous businesses flourishing in the region. Arguably, this can be attributed to the geographical location, geographical features within the city as well as the geographical features surrounding it (Ingram. 1995, p 145). To begin with, the internal features are composed of ample natural environment, which gives the basis for various industries such as the steel and forestry. From geography, such industries prosper in ample environment full of natural resources (Ingram, 1995, p.145). Thus, for these features and prosperity of the region with the dominant industries, it makes city of Sault Ste an attractive region for people around Canada and Ontario for the next teen years. Notably, proper infrastructure serves another reason for the region’s prosperity as well as an attraction factor.
Another geographical feature is the position of the region, which is located at a less congested border, surrounded with Lakes that make hotel and tourism sector business good enough (Boyle. 2011, p.183). The surroundings make it ideal for living, working as well as playing. Shopping, dining among other factors is enhanced through the geographical; location of the region combined with the prosperous economy, making the region one to look forward to as a place to migrate o in the next ten years.
