The infor ERP solution is designed to deliver functionality for both the distribution and manufacturing industries. Its client base is currently at 70,000 customers who are drawn from 200 countries. The Infor ERP is suited to organizations whose business lines are complex or companies which are in multiple locations. Infor ERP lets organizations work faster and smarter, while minimizing costly customizations.
Infor ERP has modules available for supply chain management, accounting, material requirement planning, product lifecycle management, inventory control, performance management, manufacturing execution, human resources, assets management and customer relationship management.
The main competitors of Info ERP are; NetSuite, QuickBooks, Concur, Microsoft Dynamics FinancialForce Accounting, Intact, SP, Xero, and Oracle. The graphical representation of the world wide ERP market share as at 2012 is illustrated in the figure below. The market share of Infor ERP is currently estimated at 6.2% of the ERP software market. This makes it the fourth in the market rank after SAP, Oracle and Sage. Infor’s markets share is driven by the ERP’s broad functionality and its suitability to many manufacturing companies. Infor forecasts rapid growth through acquisition of other software companies and new application sales.

In 2012 Infor’s market share was at 6.2% and increase from 4.2% in 2011. SAP enjoys the largest market share of this market. The infor SunSystems is does not enjoy much market share in the ERP segment, however with sufficient advertisements they are likely to increase the market share to about 10% by 2016. The ERP has its presence in most parts of the world190 plus countries.
