Abstract

Generally, to the disadvantage perspective the massive planned development, have also contributed much to the lowering level of the rapid growth rate, for instance, overcrowding experienced in the urban areas in such of job opportunities contributed much to the depletion of the available natural resources due to high inserted pressure on them. Thus, this reduced the better performance of the rapid growth of China due to reduced and depleted natural resources. However, the natural resources are the main factors used in the manufacturing productivity of the local goods in most of the industrial sectors. Hence, when they are depleted, it lowers the level of industrial production reducing the rate of a rapid growth rate of China state. In summary, China’s growth rate of China remained a rapid and considered the highest in the world as it tries to maintain its rapid growth rate either locally or internationally.

Introduction

What are the advantages and disadvantages of the massive planned residential developments in China do to their rapid growth? The massive planned residential development has resulted in several advantages and disadvantages to the rapid growth and development in China. Importantly, this growth aimed at achieving harmony between the urban and rural sectors which required a massive support from the entire population of China. Hence, China structured an urban policy that provided appropriate incentives for decision-making to facilitate the rapid growth of the cities. More, China considered cities as the engine of growth and places where innovations incubated and professional skills are highly developed. However, this structured urban policy was only a way of implementing the massive planned developments that resulted in several significant. However, the entire research work has been done for the successful answering of the mentioned research question.

Methodology

The methodology being one of the most important parts of the research paper as it gives the necessary outline of every article. This research studies majorly done on a proper ground and adequate importance given for the preparation of methodology and afterwards it has been done and directed towards achieving the research question, the advantages and disadvantages of the massive planned development on the rapid growth of the China state. In order to answering the research question consisted of evaluating the advantages and disadvantages on the broader perspectives as well as deeply analyzing how they affected the rapid growth of China. However, in answering the research question efficiently thorough review of the sources has been done, and descriptive data gathered which is much essentially relevant for this study. Thus, the data collected consisted of qualitative output hence, explaining the merits and demerits sides of the massive planned developments of China to its rapid growth rates. The sources used have clearly helped in the distinct outline of the advantages and disadvantages giving more elaborate way of achieving a good result and analyzed data of this quality research. Thus, the advantages and disadvantages of the massive planned development have been adequately detected and adequately evaluated more comprehensively.

Results

The massive planned residential developments have resulted in several advantages and disadvantages in China majorly in its rapid growth. For instance, on the advantageous side planned residential developments have promoted strong and effective state machinery as an effective tool for mobilization of the resources with a great aim of modernization. China economic growth highly depends on the state machinery as they consider it the only reliable tool for development. The massive planned residential development facilitated a lot in the achievement of this machinery that have been of great help to China’s rapid growth in accordance with high degree of respect and support given by the entire population as well as quality planning in the social control exercise. In addition, it also increased the living standard of the people of China. The massive planned residential development created the equal platform in the trending gap that existed between the highly paid and relatively low-paid workers depending on the achieved skills of the individual worker. Thus, this gave the great motivation to provide labor when necessary increasing their living standard of living (Wang, Tao & Tong, 2009).
Further, the planned residential development enabled the China state to achieve high degree of urban growth and development for example, the massive support and mobilization provided large surplus of labor in the agricultural sector despite of the age of the farm population. However, this elevated the agricultural productivity promoting a high level of independence among the Chinese. Thus, boosts the entire economy of China as a nation increasing the level of urban growth and development. Inclusion, the planned residential developments help the China state to maintain less restriction on the separation of the rural and urban sectors, thus, it reduces the rate of rural-urban migration. Hence, this helped the people of China to move freely to every urban center to seek employment regardless of their skills qualification as well as providing the labor required for the rapid growth of the state. Thus, free local migration contributed much to the enormous gains in national income achieved by further increased the growth of urbanization (Babcock, 2009).
It also led to increasing in the industrial growth, for instance, the Chinese planned residential developments favored much the production of a wide variety of locally produced goods in most of the urban centers. Thus, it encouraged the manufacturing of local products as well as the decentralization of all the manufacturing industries even if produced at insufficient small quantities. However, this contributed much to the rapid growth of China as its economic growth basically based on the entire production of the industrial sector, hence the cheap and available labor provided by both skilled and non-skilled people to the state facilitated much to the positive deviation of the industrial production. Hence, promoted much the entire rapid growth of the China economy as it improved the level and availability of the machinery produced and used in the manufacturing industries (Wang & Zhang, 2014). In addition, the planned residential developments also boosted the entire combination sectors of industrialization as well as urbanization promoting relatively positive and well- educated labor force. Hence, it grounded in the presence of junior secondary schools in the rural sectors in the much stable education sectors. The state government improved the funding to provide and ensure free and compulsory education through the senior schools.
The planned residential developments facilitated the availability of more jobs opportunities as well as the training of migrants in the urban areas and also offering opportunities to rural youths with post- secondary technical children education. Hence, this placed limit to job market discrimination experienced by most rural migrants thus, fosters human capital investment but reducing discrimination as it was more considered part of attitudinal change in making migrants part of urban civil society. Additionally, it allowed many migrants to have a greater access to the formal sector housing market as well as integrate the urban villages into the mainstream in the main cities of the China state. Thus, it led to a high improvement in the health sector as well as the living conditions as well as extended the urban infrastructure to better and affordable facilities. Hence, the ability of China people to invest in the cities facilitated much the rapid growth and development of the entire China state (Goldston & Scheuer, 2010).
On the disadvantageous side, the planned development in China resulted into emergence of over- crowded mega-cities. This is because of the increased national income but creating favorable conditions in rural- urban inequality thus, increasing the drawbacks to the migration process creating the proper encouragement to the rural- urban migration as we as the agglomeration. Hence, it promotes larger population moving into the urban sectors creating a high population with a larger number of people neglecting the available resources only going for cheap in the name of earning a living. However, the rural migrants do not understand much of the employment as most of them generally have low access to education facilities as well as practical skills to help them secure good earning job opportunities in the city centers. Thus, this brought down the rapid growth and development in China state as professional skilled people were much of great help the entire process of development.
Finally on the advantageous side the planned massive development led to the achievement of stable food security through proper development of urbanization. It is being associated with the improvement in the agricultural sector as well as food security. However, rural- urban migration imposed more profound changes in the use of agriculture as well as assembling larger tracts of land and investment in the land sector. Hence, this positively contributed to the rapid growth of the state of China (Sun, Li, Gwillim & Jones, 2013).
The depletion of natural resources was also a negative as a result of planned massive developments in China. The natural resources got depleted in the urban centers on the process of rapid growth rate due the high level of rural to urban migration that create a lot of pressure on the existing natural resources. The availability of the high population in the urban region looking for jobs increase the availability of cheap labor that is the main contribution to the depletion of natural resources. This was also because of the removal of the barriers to the flow of rural labor supplier into the urban areas, thus, creating extreme weight to the available resources decreasing the level of rapid growth rate in urban areas. In addition, the planned massive developments resulted in a large gap between the urban- rural income. However, the state of China has maintained a strict distinction between the urban sectors and rural sectors. Thus, it resulted in many difficult ways of attaining the equality in the economic income which made the entire rapid process of growth to go slowly down.
Inclusion, the massive planned developments in China caused high misunderstanding among the citizen and foreign investors of the state’s economy. The political stability being a critical factor considered in the rapid growth and development of China to yield a positive result for the economic growth. However, China being still a one-party state, ruled by the communist party government that put a lot of restrictions to the Chinese people lacking more personal freedom. Thus, maintaining a tight control on the political issue adopted by the new policies addressing income disparity and safety net issues to boost the mass support from the citizen resulting to tremendously fall in the rapid growth of China. Hence, it required to maintain the level of domestic political stability of the state to boost and enforce the rapid growth and development of its economy (Pheny & Wong, 2011).On the other hand, the massive planned development led to many implementations of policies, for example, the policy of the restriction of rural-urban migration. Hence, it creates a lot of barriers in the country administrative enforcement that requires a complete improvement to the legal system of economic development. The existing legal basis as well as operating mechanism did not satisfy the need of the laborers and also was insufficient to the available market. However, this put drawbacks to the rapid growth of China as the entire nation through over-application of cheap unskilled labor.

Conclusion

In connection with the massive planned developments of China contributed much to its rapid growth as it upholds the investment strategies recommended as an important factor in building the portfolios for its great develop market investment. However, China government played a great part in maintaining the portfolios to ensure a steady increase in the rapid growth of its economy. The government also deployed full support to construction of mulch- cities that boosted much the rapid growth as well as tried to maintain free local movement to facilitate the level and availability of productive labor highly required to stabilize the rapid growth of the entire nation of China state. Inclusion, the achievement in the entire sector of food security also resulted as the consequence of massive planned development boosting on the highest positive side the rapid growth of the China state. In addition, the massive planned development of the state contributed much to the industrial development, where the government gave full support to the entire locally manufactured products promoting entirely the rapid growth system of the state (Nordby, 2009).
Finally, anything that has merits contrary must have the demerits, for instance, the massive planned developments created a lot of congestion in the urban areas leading to quick depletion of the naturally available resources; hence, lowering the rate of the rapid growth and development of the entire China state. Thus, massive planned development had several advantages and disadvantages to the rapid growth rate of China.
