Imagine a stalker at your tail every time you leave your house and then being followed where ever you went. A normal person would become very frustrated and irate. The situation however is even worse for public figures as the paparazzi follow their every good and bad choices and incidents which then come back around to haunt them in tabloids every day. This is the very reason why the paparazzi have often had to suffer physical inflictions at the hands of numerous celebrities inclusive of Justin Bieber, Lindsey Loan and Miley Cyrus. One brawl even ended with a reporter losing his life near a vehicle owned by Justin Bieber. Even the biggest scandals are hardly worth the distress that these public figures face and the people who have to be assaulted for the acquisition of this information. These celebrities should, therefore, be allowed space to live their private lives.
What’s more, is that even the general public is of the view that the paparazzi interfere too much and give us too much information about the lives and activities of the people who are in the public eye. According to a study, 87% of the public is of the opinion that celebrity scandals are getting too much network coverage. Surprisingly, no one complains about too little information being received about these media magnets. It might have been reasonable to ask for the private information if it had any role in telling us how good they are at their jobs. After all, there is hardly enough we could do with the information regarding a person’s favorite color, TV show or food item and how many people a celebrity dates at one time. It is for this reason, essential that we give space to these people and let them live some part of their lives away from the eyes of prying journalists.
Since we are all humans and far from perfect, every person has a right to make mistakes and not have to see those mistakes on the covers of magazines and front pages of newspapers, and celebrities are no exceptions. So it is time that we start giving our heroes their much deserved space and let them live their lives in peace, and make whatever decisions that seem fit without having to worry about people lingering outside their houses and places of business and pleasure.
