Good Case Study On Decision Support System

In Technology Solution: Climate Change Decision Support system case study there was a challenge, which described how water managers leave an impact on climate change. Study stated that water managers often faced with such problems as climate change, but never considered about how it may affect water resources. There were new plan established with the purpose of finding detailed information regarding hydrologic impacts. This new plan allowed to develop a rooting system with high-range area spread and low-cost resources use. This system (tools) have different varieties of actions, which can be applied to control stream flow. Riverside invented Climate change DSS, which does different tests to assess the consequences of forecasted climate change along the river network.
Developing of DSS has brought several advantages. The main advantage of DSS systems is to analyze climate change impact. Some other advantages are based on DSS modes. Basic Viewer (1st DSS mode) allows to quickly reproduce sub-basin graphical images. Full viewer (2nd DSS mode) allows to configure what kind of models and production state to use. If I were a decision maker I wouldn’t change anything about DSS systems. These system have just been innovated. These systems have to be tested more frequently. DSS case study states, that this kind of systems are not available across the country because of complexity and cost. If I were decision maker, I would do my best to gather funds for this innovation and spread it all over the country. This will allow to analyze climate change in different areas, rather it be cold or a hot climate.
