Proposal for Sales Force Empowerment
The most critical aspect of a sales force, particularly in associating with local dealers in different states is the stability and convenience of communication. This is also an important tool for the penetration of potential markets in other states, and a good way to invade the global market. For this, I propose that sales force should be equipped with direct lines of contact such as telephones, mobile phones, intercom, and even social media platforms that will be helpful in order to maintain an active communication line between the sales force and the potential dealers.
Sales force or sales team must adopt new trends of entrepreneurial techniques which can affect the number of sales. There must be a daily and weekly refreshment of marketing techniques and weekly training for the acquisition of new knowledge about dealership and sales. Sales force must be able to learn at the speed of need. In other words, they must be able to understand the changing needs of the clients. If the metrics are being carried out right, every member of the sales force will be able to find ways to achieve better results.
Employee engagement is also very important for sales force. In order for the sales team to achieve their maximum potential and to sincerely pour out their efforts for the company, they must feel that they are taking part in the overall objective of the company; that they are part of the success journey of the company. Therefore, sales force must consistently hold conferences with big bosses and team huddles through which the company’s goals and objectives are introduced to them and would make them understand that they are important part of the company’s potential success.
