A hero is someone with admirable and noble qualities. Unconditional love and willingness to help others are typical noble qualities found in real life heroes. Heroism needs enormous willpower and courage to act. Courage calls for facing difficulties and obstacles on one’s path. Thus heroes love to fearlessly face obstacles to help others. Heroes have a passion to serve others and the society, thus making a great impact on other’s life and the society as a whole. The unique thing about them is that they do not bring about change by force; the change in fact begins from them. Hence heroes are self-motivated, with a purpose of making a positive impact on the society. In the process of achieving their mission, heroes even put their life at risk often. A true hero influences the world through moral authority. He would be remembered by generations for what he really represented or the true heroic values. Anybody can become a hero if self-motivated to help others. As often stereotyped, a hero need not have any super power or muscle power to influence others and make a change, nor is financial wealth a requirement for making one a hero. The influence of such real life heroes goes beyond nations and seas to change lives, so is their name and fame. For example, a man who lived a hundred years ago in one corner of the earth can still inspire someone living in a different part of the world with his heroic deeds. Even after they pass away the world remembers such selfless heroes, and younger generations continue to take inspiration from them to serve others and make the world a better place for everyone to live in.
