World War I is a war that apparently had destructive impacts to Europe and Southwest Asia. Considering that this war lasted for four years, the recording attests that this war left a historical memoir that will go unforgotten even in the coming centuries. As stated in the recording, this war drew the attention of the great economies. The two opposing alliances during this war were the Allies (Russian Empire, France, and the United Kingdom) and the central powers of Germany in alliance with Austria and Hungary. Considering that the countries above at the time were prosperous economically, World War is apparently the war that deteriorated not only the world economy but also the economy of the economic powers at the time. Based on the historical records, more than 16 million people were killed in the war that lasted for approximately four years. Though this war had apparent negative impacts on the economy, the war paved way for major political alterations in the countries involved in the war. Additionally, World War 1 was a war of weapon technology; it was during this time that the machine guns were invented. Subsequent to this war, the Europe, and Southwest Asian maps were changed and redrawn as a way of reinstating the peace
I learnt a lot after listening to the recording. This recording was not only an eye opener but also exceptionally educative. Prior to listening to the recording, I did not know that Germany and Great Britain were the greatest pioneers of the World War 1. In addition, I was surprised to know that World War 1 brought revolutions and developments of archetypal weapons that include the machine guns. In a nutshell, I was able to learn more about the aftermaths of World War 1, its causes and factor that fostered its end.
