Before starting writing on my paper, I try to understand what the topic is. If I am completely familiar with the topic I, move to step 2. Else I first try to understand and comprehend the topic. I go through various websites as these provide up to date information regarding some particular topic. Hence, I find it highly convenient to search my required topic online and collect facts that are required to write that particular piece.
Step 2: As I am fully familiar with the topic I then think about the structure according to which I will carry on my writing. I make a rough sketch in my mind regarding the starting, the headings, and the conclusion, and I start writing my paper.

Drafting

In the drafting stage, I continue my writing according to the structure I have thought in my planning stage. There are a number of additional headings that come to my mind while writing the particular topic that I include the paper and omit a few headings that I believe does not add to the beauty of the writing.
I, then analyze how sequential my writing is as it should be perfectly aligned and structured. If I feel that my writing is getting out of the sequence I, try to create it by shuffling the paragraphs bringing the information in an order which is easy to understand and explain.

Revising

In the stage of revising, I critically analyze my piece of paper and try to gauge how outstandingly or outrageously the paper has been prepared. I try to be highly ruthless and critical during the stage and look at the paper with a high degree of judgment so that I could identify the strongest and the weakest part. With the weakest part, I try to decorate them with further splendid information and astounding facts.
I try to change the vocabulary with more refined and polished selection of words so that my piece of writing leaves an everlasting effect on my reader. Finally, I match it with the stronger part, and if I find both up to the mark I move on to the next stage.

Editing

In this stage, I fine tune my paper with great detail. At first I check spelling mistake and grammatical errors that have occurred while writing and correct these. Then I clearly analyze the structure of the sentence. If I find a sentence unstructured, I bring it into the order. Finally, I write minor words that I overlooked to write and complete my paper in the best manner possible.

Proofreading

I use a method of proofreading that I find most advantageous to me. There are a number of professional papers on various topics available on the internet written by many bright and great scholars. I first match my paper with these professionally and outstandingly crafted papers and try to judge how well or how less my paper matches with these documents. I try to align my paper with these professional writings and try to give my paper a look which best describes the need of the topic.
I then show my papers to my seniors and request them to identify any shortcomings in it. I listen to their valuable suggestions and make changes if they provide any better suggestion regarding my paper. After all these efforts, I submit my paper to the mentor.
