Discussion 1.
I am convinced that religion and science must work together for the benefit of the future generations. Both group of people – deeply religious or absolutely atheistic – may do whatever it takes to explain our life and to make things easier for us to understand. I am sure that there never was any true collision between science and religion, this all was only created to disunite people, to make them fragile. Science follows religion, because now it has managed to explain such things that people centuries ago could not even imagine. That is why our ancestors used religion for this purpose. “There needs to be no separation of religion and science” this is indeed solid message of Wilson. I would like to mention film “I Origin” in this context. It proves that little bit of faith is important for scientists too because even living in the 21 century there still is some room for inexplicable and unbelievable.

Discussion 2.

I do not completely support statement that people of religion pay no attention to climate change. I think that this is exactly where the help of scientists is needed because such changes are results of scientific progress, not religious. Saving of the world is question number one for all human beings living on this planet though some groups may do more for this purpose. I understand that this constant debate between science and religion will not cease to exist for many years to come but I do believe that if people are united the common project they work on will succeed. The Wilson's claim about working together to make the world a better place is first step towards mutual understanding and cooperation. If this continues, our planet must be saved.
