Today, the leading position among other global problems has to be given to the global climate change and potential damage it might cause for the ecosystem. Therefore, the topicality of the researches being held within the sphere is obvious as currently scientists all over the world try to elaborate possible solutions to the climate change problem.
Special attention here has to be paid to development, protection and distribution of natural resources that play the key role in the ecosystem destruction. This theme is perfectly analyzed in the work “Regional impacts of climate change on water resources quantity and quality indicators” written by such specialists within the sphere of global environment as Mimikou, Baltas, Varanou and Pantazis (Mimikou, Baltas, Varanou, Pantazis, 2000). They underline the role of water resources in the process of pollution of natural resources and suggest tow main models of water protection that can be used in the big cities of Europe and Asia (Arnell, 1999).
The problem of ozone layer destruction is one of the most frightening and the possible solutions that can change the situation are discussed by Kim Knowlton, Joyce E. Seoul is known to be the Green city of Asia with the series of specific initiatives being held in the field of green technologies and nature protection. The specifications of local is taken into account by scientist Kim Eunyoung and his colleagues that have worked on their work “Local Adaptation Plan to Climate Change Impact in Seoul: Focused on Heat Wave Effects.” The main accent is made again on the potential risks of destroying the atmosphere with the accent on recent researches that state that critical level of temperature in Seoul will be reached by 2050s-2090s (Kim, Jeon, Lee, Park, Lee, 2012).
“Evaluating Climate Change Impacts on Human Mortality in Korean Cities: Challenges and Findings” is the research that specifies in the field of impact the changes within ecosystem produce on people’s health and also provides data on the life duration of Seoul citizens within the last years that is more than enough for the formation of required impression (Kalkstein, Sheridan, Kim, Lee, 2014).
The complex charcterof such an issue is obvious and therefore curren tresearch requires the implementation of method of systerm analysis. It will geive the ability to evaluate all aspects of climate change and all potential aftermaths of the process.
All the evidence and the inforamtion mentioned above serves for the supprt of the claim that climate change is the topic for a discussion for the modern society and specila importnce for the research represents the situation in Seoul.
