Teenage pregnancy rate gets lower in the US and that is an achievement. As teens we think about sex and boast of having sex with someone we particularly like or love. Some teens are shy to reveal themselves but they also want to be sexually active. I think sexuality is good and there is nothing bad about it. Being attractive is advantage and helps easy make friends, go to parties and have fun. Some of us fall in and out of love too often and changing partners in sex can bring new problems. Teens are vulnerable and this marks their puberty years and also behavior that is often unexpected. We think that adults do not understand us and we communicate only the basics with them if ever. This autonomy helps grow up. I believe many teens are more responsible today, they think first and then they do.
Birth control is accessible but not for free. I believe only some teens can talk about this issue with their parents or doctor. Most of us share experiences and try to learn not to repeat others’ mistakes. Unwanted pregnancies can also happen when women are raped or sexually assaulted. When this happens, teenagers are particularly afraid to go to doctor or tell a parent and they become a victim. Unwanted pregnancy is like a suffering. We are not stupid and we know many answers to questions even before grownups ask them. But important thing is to decide if to have sex is the right option.
