As the electronic music is becoming increasingly more popular across the world, the events around this type of music amplify. Resident Adviser is a prominent source of information about such events and I am highly interested in pursuing an internship within this organization, providing administrative, marketing, operational and events organizing support.
Knowing the profile of Resident Advisor’s online music magazine and community platform, I envision myself working closely with the Partnerships and Events teams, strengthening and supporting the existent partnerships, while providing administrative and logistical assistance for the general organization of events. Due to my former experience as a journalist, I would also be able to provide engaging content that the enthusiastic community will enjoy reading. I imagine myself in the middle of on-the-job activities, providing valuable support with researching and promoting events or maintaining proactive communication with partners, while always helping the teams with creative and innovative ideas.
Through my previous experience, I have achieved a strong editorial formation, developing the ability to perform professional writing in a timely manner, often with tight deadlines, while also managing other activities, such as event organizing or activity planning, which requires strong analytical and strategic thinking.
I am confident that my dynamic and proactive personality, along with my multitasking and analytical abilities would represent assets for Resident Advisor, as I could develop original and effective strategies, which could enhance the magazine’s visibility.
