Good Example Of Essay On The Gift Of Grace

The Mosaic Law did not succeed in producing perfection and righteousness among the faithful Jews. Despite their zeal and diligence in fulfilling the law, they were exposed to more evil through knowledge of the law. They were uninformed of the eventual objective of the law that was to ensure that they loved each other. Jesus, when answering the Pharisees and Sadducees, noted that loving each other was the fulfillment of the law (Matthew 22:37). To the young man who fulfilled the entire law but yearning for eternal life, inquired of him, He advised him to sell all his treasure and follow Him. He put more emphasis on believing Him as the Son of God sent to save them than striving to fulfill the law.
In his letter to the Romans, Paul highlighted God's promise to Abraham. He insisted that the promise in the covenant be not only meant to Abraham's genealogy but also all the righteous in faith. The Gentiles, too qualified to partake and share Abraham's blessings by believing in Christ. Through Grace, God made His blessing available to the Gentiles alongside God's beloved Jews. Faith qualifies Gentiles into sharing God's promises to Abraham. Disregarding Gentiles as fellow heirs to Abraham's promise makes faith of no importance (Romans 4: 13).
It proved impossible to please God by works. The law was not sufficient to guarantee a faithful of God's approval as a saint. In Chapter 3 verse 20 of the letter to the Romans, Paul indicates that deeds of the law save no one. The law only served as a shadow and example for the Christians. Righteousness through faith completes and manifests the entire redemption story.
The Apostle Paul, giving himself as an example, insisted that, without faith, none could please God. Through believing in God, for this reason, the repentant sinful people can obtain mercy and forgiveness. God chooses to save the undeserving sinful people who believe and accept Him as the Savior. Grace is. For this reason, a gift to people since no human can qualify by self-righteousness through works.

Justification by grace

Believers in Christ get entitlement to justification from their sin and a right to boast of real righteousness. However, there is no sense of boasting since through Grace, no one strives to attain righteousness. Human efforts and strife in obtaining righteousness is not enough to entitle one to God's consideration as a saint. To these believers there is neither no more conscience or condemnation for their previous sins (Romans 8: 1).
