Jesus did not come into the sinful world by the normal birth; he was conceived by a virgin woman, Mary, who was not yet married. His birth was first revealed to the shepherds who are considered the lowly among people in the community, this shows the humility Jesus came with into the world. He was born. Born in Bethlehem in Judea which is King Herod's empire while being considered the new king of the Jews evidently threatened the king and hence put on a search so as to kill all the male infants born at that time so as to get rid of Jesus. During the feast of the trumpets in Jerusalem, Jesus disappeared from the parents' sight when it was time to head back home, he was later found after three days of the teachers in the pious temple, listening keenly and asking broad questions; He knew his purpose of being on earth. On His sermons on the mount, he insisted on righteousness and humility; character of Christians.
How non-canonical differs from the canonical depiction of Jesus
Unlike other children of the age that Jesus, at twelve years old; His life was full of extra unusual activities, interest in the temple asking the teachers questions about the kingdom other than being with the parents on home chores. There is a difference between the two depictions of Jesus. He seemed not to abide by the rules and cultures of the Jews, at some point he is depicted as a disobedient child for instance in the Infancy Gospel of Thomas where he could get angry and speak powerful words against the neighbors that adversely harmed them. Jesus was, however, an obedient young man who knew his commission and purpose for being on the earth and would not let nothing hinder what he was doing, God, His father's will. He had crowds following him like on the Sermon on the Mount who continuously followed him referring to him as a good teacher.
