Good Example Of Nelson Mandela Essay

Nelson Mandela is one of the iconic leaders in the history of human civilization. The famous personality in context stood out, and hogged the limelight with his deeds and leadership qualities. His fame spread all over the world, and he came to be hailed as one of the best leaders of the modern day civilization. According to the article, “Nelson Mandela”, “The South African activist and former president Nelson Mandela (1918-2013) helped bring an end to apartheid and has been a global advocate for human rights.” (p.1) According to the article, “Biography of Nelson Mandela”, “Nelson Mandela, while increasingly politically involved from 1942, only joined the African National Congress in 1944 when he helped to form the ANC Youth League.” (p.1) Quite interestingly, he was the first member of his family to receive a formal education. Thus, it was always a very tough road for the personality. However, his spirit for advancing in life to work for the people never got deterred in any way. According to the article “Nelson Mandela – Biographical”, “Mandela was arrested in1962 and sentenced to five year’s imprisonment with hard labor.” (p.1) The article “Nelson Mandela Personal” correctly opines saying, “Nelson Mandela personifies struggle.” (p.1) He was truly a man of steel who never got daunted even a bit in the face of odds. He struggled with resolution to succeed in his ambition, and he finally achieved what he wanted to. He acts as an inspiration to a gazillion people all over the globe with his aura, grit, and vision as a mass leader not only of the country he belonged to, but also of the entire human community of the world society.
