A project cannot be a success, until and unless the project does not has a capable and high performance project teams. In this regard, the Regency hotel (case under discussion) has to acquire a project team for the development, deployment and maintenance their website. In order to develop the website, the Regency hotel requires a team consists of a Project Manager, database manager, website developer, web designer, content developer and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) expert. In order to form a team, the project manager should clearly and precisely be specified the roles and responsibilities of the project team.
In project management, only the formation of project teams is not enough to successfully complete the project, but also building a high performance teams (HPT). There are various principals of building a high performance team that the Regency hotel has to follow. Some of the principals are as follows:

The objectives, roles and responsibilities of a project team should be clear to every stakeholder.

The main efforts of the team for achieving the set project goals within agreed time period should be identified and informed to all the team members.

Ensure a strong coordination and inter-dependently among team members (rather independently) to achieve a collective goal.

Create an environment that each team member trusts other, in a way that they (team members) share their expertise as and when required.

Team always follow processes, therefore, the processes should also be effective and efficient facilitating to achieve the project goals

The Regency hotel has to try for building the features / characteristics of a high performance team (Holmes, n.d). The features include, but are not limited to the clarity in the roles, goals and responsibilities, commitment to achieve the goals, professionalism, synergy (coordination and cooperation among the team members) and confidence. Moreover, the following chart represents the features of a high performance team.

The RACI matrix for the development of website for the Regency hotel is given below. The RACI (R: Responsibility, A: Accountability, C: Contributing, I: Informed) matrix provides role of each team member in the project execution phases of the website development. The project manager and sponsor are only accountable for few of the phases of the web development lifecycle. At least one of the team members is responsible for each of the phases of the website development lifecycle (Cardinal Solutions, 2012).
