Good Example Of Should Gay Marriage Be Legal In All States Argumentative Essay

Today the gay marriage is legalized in several countries around the world, and in several states within the United States. People that support same-sex marriage claim that registration has legal effect; without taking into consideration ethical and religious side of this issue, and the law itself must follow such social changes. Opponents, in turn, believe that state recognition of such types of marriage and registration alters the basis of civil law, that changes the words "husband" and "wife", "father" and "mother" on the asexual and general terms ("spouse 1" and "spouse 2", "parent 1" and "parent 2").
The discrimination against same-sex couples damages the development of the country; these people must not be discriminated, but rather support and welcome them. The gay marriage will bring additional taxes to the treasury, and to legalize their relationship employees will work better (Snyder, R. Claire, 2006).
In my opinion, it is better to legalize the gay marriage. A modern marriage is just a stamp in the passport, such stamp shows, and that citizens concluded the agreement. The state must not care about who concludes such agreement, because it is internal. Society also should not care about who makes a stamp in the passport.
I do not understand why so much noise rises because of the official registration. In my opinion, if people want to have a stamp, they should to the notary and conclude the agreement, where everything will be clear. But the researches show, that the legalization of the gay marriage will give some benefits to the state authorities. 10 years of research of the U.S. Congressional Budget Office showed that the state and federal budget actually will get positive momentum when lifting the ban on gay marriage. The marriage increases tax revenues by increasing the capacity of people to conclude the gay marriages, as research shows. Plus, they will also get divorced, and then pay a fee for a divorce. (Mello, Michael, 2004).
Finally, if people do not just love each other, but live together for many years, why they should not be subject to the same rights we have, my wife, or any married couple? Why they should not extend tax credits?
Hence, one can come to the conclusion that if two people want to legitimize their relationship, they can go to the notary and sign a prenuptial agreement, and to agree about everything. According to the Dalai Lama, for those who are not religious, it is their own business. "Any form of sex has a right to exist, if there is mutual consent. The only violence is absolutely unacceptable".
