The attack on Clinton basing on her historical aspects especially those that seem to question her morals is a mere hasty generalization of her morals. It is evident that the attackers claimed that she had a flawed judgment on the American diplomats in Russia and Libya.
They also attacked her for using personal emails in a state department and added a few other aspects of her personality in a negative manner. It is worth noting some of the issues raised do not constitute morals but personal opinions that each American has an entitlement to without harsh judgments.
What the attackers wants the public to understand is that Hillary Clinton, in general, has bad morals and hence unfit for any public office leave alone the presidency. In other words, the message is, Hillary Clinton is morally wrong to hold any public office for using her personal email and deleting them when there were investigations, her opinion of Russia and Libyan diplomats, both of which are too much baggage for a public officer. For example, Rand Paul, the Kentucky Senator, citing the Benghazi attack asserted that Hillary’s dereliction of duty and her not doing her job ought to forever preclude her from holding any high office.
Therefore, Paul’s assertion is in bad taste and made to discredit the morals and dedication of Hillary using very few aspect mistakes. Such is a hasty generalization other commitments to her duty and morals.
