Flourishing in the market with zeal and prosperity is the contemporary right of an organization, and they would like it to get with a regular rolling of time. Organizations have been termed as such a place that surrounds with lots of internal and external issues and opportunities accordingly; however their real productivity lies in the fact that how well they manage their core mechanism to have sheer benefits (Armstrong and Baron 2005).
Organizations emphasize over their departmental functions and every department is important for their core significance. Human Resources Management (HRM) Department is one of the most important departments found within the premises of an organization which has the tendency to manage the operations of their employees accordingly (Bratton and Gold, 2007). Organizations have an idea that without managing the needs of their employees, the stance of getting perfection in their workability is not achievable. Staffing, selecting and recruiting are some of the major elements that associated with the core functionality of an organization, and organizations are required to maintain a strong amount of tradeoff among it. Multinational Organizations are comparatively sounder and more worthwhile as compared to domestic organization because of its volume and strength of their operations in different markets of the world.
The main theme of this assignment is to recommend regarding the different strategies employed by Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, as far as strengthen their operations and functions are concerned. Upper management of the company like the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and President are in the favor of applying the “Golden Rule” scenario on the functionality of the company.

Analysis & Findings

Recommendation Regarding Staffing and Selecting of Employees
Selection and Staffing are some of the major types of stuff and functional are that focuses by the organizations for their long term effectiveness and operations. Apart from Hiring and firing, managing and maintaining the significance of the employees are very important for the organizations to manage their core effectiveness and significance level (Bratton and Gold, 2007).
The staffing and selection technique varies from organization to organization, and it is totally different in domestic and multinational organizations. Staffing and Selection Criteria predominantly in the multinational enterprises should contain rigorous amount of testing and the ability of a person to mold it according to the situation of the company (Bratton and Gold, 2007). It is not an easy ask, therefore multinational enterprises have to judge it critically. Most of the Tobacco companies welcome their potential incumbents to work with the company for four to five days just to get the idea about their workings and operations. The potential candidates in this scenario are required to operate in the same manner in which the company is expecting from them. This activity is necessary to getting the grasping and absorption power of the employees of the company in terms of changing their ability to respond the things accordingly. The concept of culture and control mechanism can be found interactive and sound in this scenario (Dessler 2005).
Managing the cultural aspect of an organization is an alternative name of managing the level of diversity of an organization, which is an important point to remember a multinational corporation. All of these aspects come under the ambit of International Human Resources Management (IHRM) functionality, and it is equally applicable over Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts as well as it is a multinational organization with having operations in 31 different countries of the world. There are certain recommendations that should be use by Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts to solve the issue of staffing and selection.
Firstly, the company should apply a transparent and clear way of selection of employees through which they can hire and manage a strong well being in their employees.
Secondly, it is very important for the company to increase the level of innovation of the companies just to make their employees interactive and reactive towards each other and towards their management as well
Thirdly, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts have to make some rigorous tests from which they can hire the best talent of the society towards their different functions.
In terms of staffing, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts is expected to treat its every employee with full of ethics consideration and applying the transparency functions in their effectiveness.
Performance appraisal method use by the enterprise should be transparent and shouldn’t support any type of biasness and favoritism in it.
Try to figure out the problems and issues highlighted by the organizations while operating in the premises to make them more satisfied with the policies of the company. It will certainly lead to increase the financial belongings of the company along with directing the performance of the company with positivity

Recommendation for Kathleen Taylor

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts is one of the leading operators of Luxury Hotels, with headquartering based in the Canadian region. It was founded in the year 1960, and it is currently having a great time in operating and managing around 75 hotels in 31 different destinations of the world. Kathleen Taylor, the president of the enterprise is in the fact that every single person on the earth requires to be treated with prosperity and courteously, that is why she applied the concept of Golden rule on the company. Apart from giving lots of uniforms to maintain the level of dignity of their workers, it is very important for Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts to give substantial amount of training to their workers. Kathleen Taylor is recommended to manage a perfect sort of Combination Bridge among their employees and the management to manage their operations with a positive set of mind. In order to control the mechanism and get the employees aware with the culture, there are two major points which Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts have to undertake in their consideration
Kathleen Taylor is advised to completely eliminate the issues of diversity from the company, to make their employees more productive, innovative and satisfied
The president should increase the level of communication with the employees in order to have their problems and issues, and then make a fruitful solution on the same.

Conclusion

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts is a multinational enterprise that deals in the luxurious hotels in different parts of the world. The company is currently operating with 75 different hotels. They are concerned specifically with their HRM functions and operations. From this entire analysis, it is found that the application of IHRM functions and theories are also effective for Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts as well for their long term effectiveness and significance. Kathleen Taylor who is the president of the company should play their part to eradicate the issues of culture from the company and integrate the employees on a single platform with dignity.
