RE: VACCINATION POLICY.
I am writing this letter to bring to your attention the benefits your school stands to gain by choosing to partner with us to develop a vaccination policy for your school. As you are aware, majority of school going children are young and in an age bracket best for administering most of vaccines. Your school lacking a policy that effectively ensures that children are vaccinated is not a good thing especially for a reputable school like yours. To start with, vaccination is good in a number of ways and that is why I highly recommend your school strive to develop a vaccination policy. Vaccination is inexpensive and the most effective way of preventing infectious diseases such as whooping cough, polio, tuberculosis, measles, tetanus, and mumps among others (CDC, 2014). Vaccinated children are protected from these serious preventable illnesses that are difficult to treat and cure and in some cases may lead to brain damage, paralysis or death. (Immunization Action Coalition 2014)
Health is a basic human right to every human being and we have a duty as individuals of protecting those we love and care for as well as the entire community. By vaccinating our children, we demonstrate our commitment to protect others. Vaccines are safe and do not pose any serious negative effect on children because they have been subjected to careful examination by top research scientists, professional doctors as well as various government agencies and they have been ascertained to be safe (CDC, 2014). Vaccines also save time and money that would otherwise be used to seek treatments of these preventable diseases. It greatly reduces medical bills incurred and also time saved increases productivity in places of work. These vaccines are always provided to children through government funded programs which are free. Thus, because of its benefits, I highly recommend that your school start investing in a school vaccination policy. Thank you
Sincerely
John Smith.
