The aim of the paper is to share the experiences that were gained by interviewing my friend Johnson. Johnson is at the development stage of his career. He is 28 years old and works as an assistant manager in a bank. He wants to build up his career to achieve the goal of his life. It was good to talk with him regarding the career management model to adopt for building up his career.
He has to develop his career to achieve his goal as he is in a development stage of his career. He asked me about the process to adopt so to make it possible to avail the opportunities. It was evident that he did not know about the opportunities. He wanted to know about the strategies to be adopted for developing his career. He did not have an idea about the path that he needed to adopt. I suggested him that he should adopt a career management model to adopt changes in his mind so that he could be able to develop his career. It was suggested by the model that one has to set the goal that he wants to achieve. Selection of a goal is necessary for making a plan to select the path for that. Once the goal has been set, it is necessary to be aware of the environment so that the directions could be made for implementing the goal. He should be well informed and make decisions based on that information. He has to build up his career, so it is necessary to be well-informed as it is the demand of particular opportunity. A person has to make strategies to achieve the goal set by him. A person has to check that the strategies are working properly towards the progress of his goal.
Following are the career charts of my relatives. One is male and other is female. Differences could be seen in both the charts.
On comparison between two charts it could be seen that career is well developed by male than female. Both of them completed their graduation in same age but further development is seen in male chart. Female was unable to avail the opportunity of job but male was successful in achieving his goal and built his career quick than a female.

The model describes the steps of career decision-making that should be adopted by a person who has to manage his career plan. Reflection, action, and exploration were necessary steps that were effectively followed by both of the individuals but on comparison male adopted the process quickly. There was no employment gaps in either of the two models because both of them started their career after completing their education. They entered into professional life to building their career and achieve the goals set by them.
