In order to emulate the success of Zara and Benetton, various aspects have to be put into consideration. First, within the operations of the entire business organization, there is a need for a transformation in the operation through transitioning into electronically effective processes by growing the mechanization of its products. Second, the organization can emulate the success of these two organizations through the introduction of technological improvements such as mobile apps, websites or integration of online services that are not previously offered (Palladino, Amalia Paola, 2010, p. 11). In addition, the business organization can incorporate or include international trade in its operations because it saves money and allows the enterprise to increase productivity.
Another elemental way of the small clothing manufacturer to emulate the success of Zara and Benetton is by producing clothes that combine different stylish designs with strong links to the current themes of high fashion with moderate or affordable prices. The successful growth of organizations like Zara and Benetton does not only encompass standardization or low prices, but also an innovation strategy that involves product innovation, and understanding of customer needs through the provision of a variety of products to them. As such, the small clothing manufacturer has to increase the variety (Palladino, Amalia Paola, 2010, p. 18).
In summary, from these reasons, it is elemental for the small clothing manufacturer to employ technologically advanced software and systems, along with the innovation of products and provision of a variety of choices for the customers in terms of products. Moreover, the business has to improve international trade to offset the probable costs of providing a variety of the clothing. If the small clothing manufacturer can consider these options successfully, it could match the success and growth of Zara and Benetton.
