Background of the Problem
E227 Global Solutions through the top management has plans of being green. That is, the organization has decided to make efforts to reducing its carbon footprints on a global scale. The company has seen various localized initiatives that have been successful in the reduction of energy consumption, reducing or eliminating the chemical by-products, and reducing its carbon footprint by twenty-five percent.
The Future
If the problem is not addressed effectively, its future implications will be consequential globally. First, failure to address the issue will lead to an increase in global warming. The emission of a lot of energies into the environment will increase the amount of heat being released into the atmosphere, which will in turn lead to global warming. The failure to address the issues will be costly to the company in the future because it will have to device or implement more radical and expensive measures of annihilating the effects of the carbon footprints.
The Past
The problem developed with the development of industrialization. The increase in development of industries and manufacturing processes influenced the development of carbon footprints into the environment. As such, there was an increase in the energy consumption and elimination of chemical by-products, especially through the manufacturing processes.
The Present
The current situation that demands action is reducing the environmental impacts of these carbon footprints. Moreover, current government legislations, laws and the issue of corporate social responsibility call for action, which requires that companies, such as E227 Global Solutions adopt green strategies.
Statement of Purpose
There is an increasing concern about the environmental impacts of carbon footprints, the energy consumption and the elimination of chemical by-products. As such, the purpose of this proposal is to provide ideas for the company to go green, achieve its goal of reducing its carbon footprint.
Sources and Methods
The research will involve both quantitative and qualitative approach. The following sources will aid in the process. Each of these sources has information concerning the carbon footprints and the issue of going green. Moreover, these sources have information on the possible effects of the failure to adopt these green strategies.
