There are various benefits that one would accrue from having the ability to read and retrieve data from databases that represent diverse study topics. One advantage is that you retrieve the right information. People with the ability to interpret seek the information that is relevant and required from the database. On the contrary, if a person does not know how to retrieve data from a database that is diverse and represents several topics, chances that he or she will come up with the wrong information are very high. It is thus important that one can recover data from a database with various study topics. Another benefit that one may accrue from having the ability to retrieve required data from a database with several study topics is that it saves time. People spend less time when they know how to carry out an activity than when they do not have a clue on how to maneuver (Database Reports, 2015). In this regard, an individual who is able to find the data he is looking for with speed in a database saves time.
Reports generated and more so in the health sector are very important to the practitioners and to the governments and relevant authorities. To the practitioners, these reports give a history of patients and diseases most prevalent in the sector. To the government and relevant authorities, the reports act as a benchmark on what they are dealing with and areas that they need to improve. The reports can be used for analysis and policy implementation. Issues with data integrity affect usable reports in a big way (Health Information Technology, 2015). Reports that are used by governments should have accurate and reliable data as this helps in implementing policies that benefit the public. The data should therefore have integrity for it to be useful.
