I am a multicolored flying kite, soaring far and free

Made in the small town of Indiana, I have dreams as big as the seas

People see me with excited thoughts and eyes glowing bright with gleam
I think about the future and see my ambitions, my heart swollen with glee

I miss the others back at the abode, the friends and family and also my home

The laughter of children, the hopes of elders, also all I else had condoned

Dreaming of spreading my wings and flying into the sky; Oh! I left behind the dome
I wish I could go back to that innocence, the shelter of the loved ones who were my own

How I miss them back at the abode, all the friends, family and the dear home

I have travelled far and wide, searching for the wonderland of my yearning

They still say I look like my friends, they see the beauty in me; that of my dwelling

Thinking about my dreams, my spirits soar high; at the top of the world, so good are my feelings
I will get there one day and make them proud, but they already see me at the place I’m going
I will travel; travel for as long as I can, searching for the wonderland I see in my yearnings
I will go higher, so high in the sky; all will see the beauty that I carry inside

The kids will see me with joy and wonder, I’ll become the inspiration in the hearts that they hide

I’ll grow brighter like the seasons passing by, and then I’ll see them, standing by my side
My own world I will create with those who will share, to that great wonderland, together we shall ride
I will go higher, so high in the sky; all will see the beauty that I carry inside
