I would use the mitigation strategy which has two components. Mitigation means taking a step that would be sustainable for long term and prevent from loss and suffering from hazards for a long period of time.
Hazards Analysis: Firstly the analysis would have to be done for the upcoming hurricane season, about what type of hazard is this, what are the particular consequences relating to this hazard, how much loss would it cause, and to whom. (Robertson, 2005)
Capability assessment: The team would evaluate our own organizations capability to recover from the disaster and especially take measures before this actually occurs.
Emergency Operations Plan Development: The plan, according to which all the actions have to be taken, is to be made and laid out, discussed with team members and finalized.
Mitigation Efforts: Then the plan that we have made we should make sure that it’s sustainable and long lasting otherwise it would be useless.
Emergency Operations: Now the plan that I have made, It’s time that I along with my team members start taking safety measures and implement it. The plans on the paper would be actually acted upon in the practical. (2015)
Emergency Operations Evaluation: The plans that have been implemented it would be much better if we evaluate them, whether they are according to the needs, whether they are effective enough or not.
