It also provides guidelines for further research on the topic.
In chapter 13, 14 and 15, Northhouse examines different aspects of leadership. The first is the relationship between women and leadership. The chapter examines how female leaders have shaped leadership in governments and large multinationals such as PepsiCo. The chapter also examines whether there is a difference in leadership styles based on gender. Furthermore, the chapter examines the leadership effectiveness based on gender. The chapter summarizes that women and men have different leadership skills that are applicable in different situations. The book also examines the role of culture in leadership as well as leadership ethics. Culture plays an important role when it comes to ethics. In many organizations and ethical culture is cultivated in order to encourage employees to be ethical in their decision-making.
