NAMI is a grassroots nonprofit mental health organization dedicated to building and save millions of lives of Americans suffering from mental illness. Covering all states, NAMI works on a volunteering basis as affiliates volunteer to work to provide awareness and essential support to local communities. As a non-profit organization, NAMI is passionate in responding to all needs of the community regardless of their financial constraints.
Primary Activities
Since inception, NAMI has been in the forefront in forming the most formidable grassroots health advocacy in mental health. With dedication, steadfast and commitment, NAMI’s primary activities include:
Providing support: NAMI works closely with all volunteers in making sure that the needs of all people with mental illness get the necessary support. A beneficiary gets the maximum attention until it is time they are okay and handed over to their families.
Education: In conjunction with the support of well wishers, NAMI offers distinct education programs. Many needy individuals have benefited abundantly from such programs.
