Trophy III (for Jean Tinguely), 1961is regarded by many artists as one of the noble yet a renowned classic statue of Maco Museum. The trophy portrayed in a painting is believed to have been created in the year 1961 along with other Robert forms of art. The authenticity of the art has provoked several kinds of suggestions ranging from the artistic and socio-economical presentation. As observed in many circumstances, this form of art has attracted anomalous form of interpretation among scholars. Robert Rauschenberg in his work (Trophy IV (for John Cage) resisted that the title of the word trophy meant nothing but an expression of “special thanks to the winner (Pagel 1).
Across the globe, it is well known that, trophies are ghoulish objects that are often presented to celebrate a victory. In most circumstances, they are symbolic evidence of conquest-either in a game, an enemy or culture. The trophy mainly symbolizes a heroic and victorious power that an individual achieves in the contemporary society. The artist used different styles to deliver the message. He further uses different kinds of tools like staircases to show the step that the heroine/hero had made to achieve the victory (Pagel 1). Therefore, the stature manages to represent both cubist and futurist movements among other forms of art. These unique features and mark represented in this art underpins the preface interpretation thus making it peculiar in its form. Closer interpretations of the motif backdrop represent a dove waiting to upload the winner. In sculpture, the artist has succeeded to deliver one of the most complex geometry over age. He has presented various forms of anatomical features which dominate the better section of the motif. The motif has been colored black along the frame except the inner section that is represented by a realm of light gray color. A large backdrop, hanging from the top most corner stand tied at the center to form a rectangular shape are conspicuously presented at the center. On the upper section, the artist has done his best to place a net. On the left side, the artist has managed to put a staircase that is probably used to reach the upper section (Pagel 2)
In an attempt to deliver the iconography within the picture, the artist has made the motif column in the strongest term possible. The artists at all levels have tried to reveal a heroic triumph. Though many scholars have attempted to provide a meaning for the piece of art, to the majority it is still confusing. However, at all angles, the motif has provided al the required elements to portray victory. These factors make the painting sound to majority of the interpreters. Today, Trophy III (for Jean Tinguely), 1961, acts as one of the best references on how human have valued victory over time. As revealed by most of the historical records, Robert developed various forms of trophies to represent different issues and meanings during his tenure. Today, trophies have been represented in both gray and golden yellow colors to sign victory (Pagel 3)
In conclusion, I decided to use this form of motif due to its iconography. The sculpture is one of the most interesting and unique forms of art ever to presented. I believe that it did not only attract my attention but all scholars along the facet of the world. This motif has provided meaning to the various historical tales and myths.
