Motivation is the best driver to success. It is therefore important for people to get motivated in everything that they do. People who do not have motivation, lack the drive to perfom and succeed. They tend to things for the sake of it (Wong, 2000).
Throughout my life I have always wanted to be a nurse. I have grown up admiring the nurses that I see in the hospitals. I also have a great passion of helping of helping people who are not able to help themselves. I get inspired whenever I see nurses taking care of the sick in the hospitals. Die to my admiration and great passion, I took it upon myself to make it to make it to the top.
Having been brought up in a supportive family, I get most of my motivation from my family. My family members have been very supportive and motivating. I must admit that without their support and motivation, I wouldn’t make it in life. I have also been a great motivation to myself. I have been setting SMART goals for my elf since I was little and I have not gotten disappointed.
I have also faced several challenges in life that further motivated in life. When I was still a freshman in my sophomore tear, I lost two people who were very close to me. This affected me a lot. Perhaps if I would have been a nurse by then, I would have prevented their death. As a result, I put more effort in my studies in order to make in life. I am also the first person to attend college in my entire extended family, thus every family member gave me all their undivided support and motivation.
