Spiritual and faith matters hold very dear to me. I am a practicing Christian and in my whole life, I have never been inspired by anything more than the Jesus Christ. His doctrine of selflessness and helping the destitute appeals to me a lot and that is why I keep myself firmly within Christian beliefs in order to promote his way of life. As it is said in John 15: 5, "I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing”. I respect all the other faiths but I believe that without God’s help, I could never have achieved so much good in life. His words are really important to me and I recite some of the bible at the start of each of my life. I used to go to a daily congregation but now I have dedication at home and attend the weekly prayers in the church. I believe that the prayers are not the only way to connect with him so last year I started a discipleship class in which I learnt to increase my spiritual contact with the greatest entity to walk on Earth. After this, I started to teach a kids’ club in my church and I took pleasure in teaching these young souls what I had leant. This was no easy task as children tend to do crazy things and test one’s patience but my training proved useful and I was able to educate them in a good way. This spiritual activity helps and influences the other parts of my life. It teaches me patience and sense of responsibility that I would have lacked if I hadn’t indulged in it. The professional life that I want to pursue warrants a similar sense of purpose and conviction that I have learnt from my service to God. I hope that with my planned excellence in the business profession, I continue to find my strength in God’s miracles and opportunities he gives us.
