In the past few years industries has greatly changed the way of their manufacturing and operations. The element of efficiency and affordability can be seen easily in the products with the maximum customer satisfaction. Some people blame that globalisation has transformed not just our lives but also the quality of products we use and see around us. It is indeed a fact but unfortunately not the only one.
We live in a real smart world where products are smarter than the people. Today’s manufacturers are primarily focus to produce smart products and they are successfully reaching their targets and in the near future all these devices would be linked together through a global network. This will allow users to access easily any device they want and keep in touch with all in the same time.
It is the duty of the manufacturer that its customer must be satisfied to its fullest and this why firms these days try to make their services stronger. This is usually the after sale service which build a customer buyer relationship. It is also helpful to face the challenges and to be competitive in the industry.
Digitization is another ladder through which firms are moving further. This is the use of digital technologies in the making of products and making product more efficient and globally acceptable. This helps firms to launch a single product with same characteristics worldwide. The chances of faults and complaints are less in these digitized products as firms already test their capabilities before the launch. This in turn gives firms a healthy customer feedback.
Many firms bring quality into their products through personalisation, this refers to consider the value of customer first and responding it efficiently. The increased product demand and variation in customer choices must be considered first.
Now the most common factor of such diversity is globalisation which also plays its role in the product quality and design. Firms engage themselves globally just because of it and earn huge profits. The operations and other functions are operated from head office and just the sales are done in other countries.
If we make use of globalisation we should not forget and neglect the regulations proposed by the collaboration of different globally operating organisations. A business which takes into account the interest of its stakeholders is more preferable than the one which take it for granted. This is the regulation aspect and it is important for the firms to stay aware of the regulations especially when they operate globally.
So firms should be efficient and effective at the same time in order to produce the right product. This will increase the chances of its success and appreciation.
