Reading Reflection Essay Sample
Family plays a big role in the education of a student. If a family is supportive, them the student is expected to perform well in school. If the family is not keen on education, the students will be motivated to read and will not perform well. These had been my thoughts for a while now. I have seen parents who put a lot of emphasis on education that force their children to perform well. They are supportive and keep encouraging their students to always do better than they have done. They motivate them study and give them a good environment for studying. On the other hand, if a student is neglected and left to perform on his or her own, he or she might be reluctant because they do not see the point in working hard in school. Peers also play a role in a child's education. If a student keeps friends who are motivated to study, regardless of their backgrounds, they will be motivated to study (Moll, Amanti, Neff and Gonzalez 136). If a child is motivated and given all the attention they require and has a bad influence on him or her, the results will also be the same, they will perform poorly too. These are things I have been seeing around my neighborhood and are true. In the school too, there are some cases but since we rarely talk about how our parents motivate us, we do not know the depth of the motivation.
