There is no doubt that engineers play a crucial and integral role in environmental pollution and conservation. Based on this reason, this research will evaluate some of the major responsibilities and duties of a range of engineers that degrade of pollute the environment. The study, also, will assess and scrutinise how engineering can be used to develop a more sustainable environment in for the future.
3. Current Knowledge on the Topic
I am fully aware of the fact that those engineers are the masterminds of most of the current environmental pollution issues, and they have the power to change or transform this situation through their technical skills as well as managerial knowledge on various industrial and ecological systems. Specifically, industrial engineers, mechanical engineers, chemical engineers, architectures, have the greatest knowledge and technical capabilities to alter various ecosystems and to transform them from good to evil or vice versa. Therefore, their roles and responsibilities, especially as defined by the laws and regulations might be of great help in ensuring a sustainable environment for the future.
4. The Importance of the Research
This issue is crucial because it defines the future of our ecosystems. If an immediate action is not taken to determine and implement some of the best environmental sustainability strategies, starting with research studies on the field, the situation is likely to get out of hand. In this case, by evaluating what engineers have and can do to ensure environmental sustainability, this study creates the ground for further studies as well as the initial steps towards a zero pollution economy.
