Politics has no part in execution and inception of work art. The Tschudi affair began as a dispute over the quality of various paintings. The affair tends to be the pressure in the field of art. On the same note, Tschudi affair provides some information on how Germany was ruled during the last period before the war. The German public was helpless before the era of modern art. The Germany public need an opportunity to educate itself on exhibitions and museums. Warner took charge of the National gallery when Tschudi left the position. Werner was reluctant to take the post until Tschudi was no longer the leader of the National Gallery. Under the leadership of Werner, the National Gallery was o undergo purification. These marked the beginning of a war between modernism and tradition.
The emperor detailed the report on policies and history of the museum. During Tschudi’s leadership, Werner wrote 75 paintings. The rationale behind these was justified by the space of the holdings.
