The Coca Cola Company has been doing remarkable business for ages. It has been the best of its kind. PepsiCo is the biggest competitor of Coke. Others include Nestlé Waters, Dr. Pepper Snapple Group, Inc., Red Bull GmbH, Ocean Spray Cranberries, Inc., Britvic Plc. and the list goes on. Hence the Coca Cola Company competes globally with a number of soft drinks’ and beverages’ manufactures. This makes it even challenging to maintain its rank, market and profit margins. However the prominent regions where it has to compete include America, Asia, Africa and Europe. The company has a sustained competitive advantage, an extensive business model, ability to innovate and strong and substantial network for the worldwide distribution. Its effective strategy helps it in not just operationalizing but competing effectively as well.

The unique Coca-Cola recipe makes it taste better as compared to the rest of the cola drinks.

They keep modifying the old products and developing new ones which strengthen customer loyalty.
The most stable and wide distribution network of this company extends to even those areas which are never considered by other companies.

Their production techniques are capable of generating high profits.

The Coca Cola Company keeps introducing the interesting activities especially for the youth which attract a big percentage of customers. The recent examples include the customized bottles with the names and the blind test leading to “New Coke”.

Its cost effective advertisement strategies and campaigns also count for its success.

The Coca Cola Company has been bringing huge revenues in the market. Even when the sales of soda started to decrease from 2004 to 2011 due to obesity issues, Coke was making considerable sales. It has been driving around 80 percent of the sales from outside the USA with annual revenue of $46,854 million. This makes it the most experienced company in managing the market even in the areas like Sudan, Egypt and Pakistan where politics often hinder the productive business environment.
