The Major Theme Of Secondary Source Essay

One of the outstanding themes of the “Massive in the Urban Noth: Trumull Park, Chicago 1953- 1966”, is racism and racial differences (Hirsch). The White teenagers started bombarding stone on Donald Howard’s apartment. Howard is an African American. The White teenagers and bombarding on a blacks apartment ignited the racism.

Analysis of the primary source documents

The primary source named “Major Problems in American Urban and Suburban History” by Howard P. ChudaCoff deals with the one of the fundamental problems of the United States (ChudaCoff). Since the foundation of united state, racism is a problem which has not successfully addressed. The writer is very effective in the articulation of an argument and in giving concrete evidences from the history. The writer also touches how the black becomes victim of white and how the Black struggle to achieve freedom from the slavery of the White. The writer not only persuasive in articulating the argument, but the sentence structure, and the use of wording are also very supportive of the argument. The text contains simplest words which help in understanding the meaning easily.

Current event of Ferguson

As it is mentioned above that the racism has not been successfully addressed, yet and it still exists in America. The killing of an African-American in Ferguson state in December 2014 reignites the problem of racism. It is reported that the African American was a young man, and he was shot by the White Police (Simpson and Johnson). The reason for his killing did not come to public. The people started demonstration against the killing of the young African American. Some of the African American left the Ferguson state due to racism.
