We all came to this world for some purpose and mission. We are all representatives of God, in other words missionaries. In the course of life as people receive their knowledge, experience, as well as broad their minds and hearts, they should impart everything gained to their children, youth and next generations. Thus, everybody will be both learners and teachers as long as life lasts. God is the main teacher and from Him people get true education, a real missionary training. God has given to the mankind His plan for whole life and He desires people to reach the highest standard of development. Each person follows this plan in his/her own way.
First and foremost it is important to say about missionary work itself. One should note the general meaning of this word which defines people who feel the need to do good to others everywhere. The representatives of this work can be people of such noble professions as teachers, doctors, nurses or pastors.
We live in the world in which there is a huge percentage of children and adults suffering from the lack of parents’ love and care, teacher’s wise lessons, or just simple human attention. In this case the nursing missionary work is of great importance. They provide physical and spiritual care to people everywhere treating illnesses, healing and at the same time sharing religion.
If saying about spirituality, according to the thesaurus it is defined as “relating to, consisting of, or affecting the spirit” or “concerned with religious values”, respectively. Besides, not every individual considering him/herself spiritual is a religious one. In holistic context spirituality combines mental, physical and social sides. From this point of view nursing work does its mission in the true sense of the word.
Children are like small seeds that are planted by God. Becoming fragile plants, they undertake a great stress upon influence of the society, the people they communicate with, the principles they adhere to and develop, as well as the habits that are formed. These aspects decide the question of spiritual restriction or maturity. Thus, the first God’s mentors for a child and for a person in future are parents, teachers and nurses. Their highest aim is the children’s soul saving. So, parents, teachers and nurses are here to develop kids in harmony. The Bible gives us a good example of Jesus’ education. Being the commander of heaven, he was born in a peasant’s house. He was a willing servant, as well as loving and obedient son. Thus, the reflection of such education will be child’s desire to find joy in service, as well as sacrifice for the good of others.
So, to encourage the youth, to awaken their spirit and to lead them to spiritual harmony are the most important types of parents’, teachers’, and nurses’ work. As a result of wise education young people will adapt to the world feeling their usefulness and finding their place in their life, or even become the missionaries for others.
As was mentioned before the cooperation in missionary work is absolutely natural and the Bible should serve the foundation of this process and it will give the society profound transformation.
In conclusion it may be said that the hope and the faith rest if to live in peace, love each other, and be of assistance at any situation. Thus, the possibility to become a perfect society appears and the missionary training’s aim will be achieved with the God’s help.
