If it weren’t for the stars the whole mankind had been shooting for in the 20th century, the probability that we wouldn’t have witnessed the era of utmost human power is incredibly high. Big achievements truly come at a price of people whose heart and soul was fully devoted to some great idea. No matter how painstaking it is, in the end success pays you back more than it had earlier taken.
The motivating address given by the President Barack Obama outlines two key points related to success, i.e. keep making mistakes and never give up. Success comes only to those who believe in what they do, learn a lesson from their failures and always keep going to reach the top. Parallel to the saying “many men, many minds’ it is true that success comes in all shapes and sizes and is defined in different ways by different people. Therefore, answering the question posed, I reckon my personal contribution to be work for the sake of people.
The general truth holds that people are created to be people. Thus, helping others is the most responsible action a person can take. I assume that being successful is associated not only with one’s financial status, but also with people thankful for one’s guidance and support. For this reason, I would like to concentrate on the field of my expertise and help those willing to develop themselves by giving valuable advice and inspiring for greater goals. Viewed from this angle, success is regarded inherent in person’s work, which eventually gives you the sense of self-fulfillment and fills you up with the feeling of satisfaction.
All in all, success is what you do and what you believe in. Success is what you are.
