Why Chemical Engineering Admission Essay Example

I am from Saudi Arabia and I have lived there for eighteen years. I am a fluent Arabic and English speaker. For the past three years I have live in the United States and successfully finished two educational programs; one of them is called AECP, which prepares students for college life, and the other one is studying my favorite major: Chemical Engineering at Mesa community college.
I truly enjoy studying all aspects of chemistry, but when I am supposed to choose only one part of it to perform research on, I would go with Catalysis and Reactions. In my opinion, studying and experimenting with different materials, watching how their molecules react against each other, and coming up with new reactions that can help people live easier, is the most interesting, somehow magical, part of this field.
One of my career goals is to work in a research and development lab in near future. As I said, experimenting with different materials and getting to know them is so interesting to me and I think that I am really good at it. Finding a chemistry-related job - especially working in a lab- is something that would make me truly happy and I would spend the rest of my life trying to get better at it every day.
I wish to pursue graduate study in Chemical Engineering because I think I am made for it; I am a creative person, I like to work in a team; and I am good at computer modeling. On the other hand, apart from the technical part, I am so passionate about chemistry that I cannot think of any other major to continue my education in. I enjoyed my BA course so much and I truly worked hard to be a good student. I believe nothing is better than knowing what you want and be passionate about it. I have found my passion and I will not let that go, and that is why I think I must study this major in my graduate program.
