The main causes of weight gain
Have you ever visited a nearby park? If yes, then you must have encountered various people with different shapes and sizes, running here and there just to lose weight. Might be you too have been there once in your life for the same reason, but is there a point doing this until and unless you don’t know the cause for weight gain. I feel no. so let me tell you that causes of weight gain are broadly categorized as visible and hidden. Hidden causes are not controllable for individual so let’s check out the visible ones.
Weight gain is simply the result of modern urban living, which supports junk food, dependency on machines and irregular food eating habits.
Junk foods
Junk foods are designed in such a way that they don’t have enough nutrients in them. And also they are made tasty with chemicals and such ingredients, that they are usually hard to resist. These are made to be cheap, affordable and to last long. These are the basic features of hyper palatable junk food that makes them additive. So, we buy them very often and that too in large quantities. And hence we gain weight in such a way that people start calling us fat!
Dependency on machines
The most important invention of modern techno world is machine. Machine is something that eases our work in such a way that it’s quite easy to gain weight. We have all sorts of machine which insists that we should simply sit back and relax till the time they finish our work. Just sitting back and relaxing decreases the activity of our body and hence we are not able to burn enough calories, and eventually it increases our weight.
Irregular food habits
The world is running with such a pace that most of the people don’t have time to enjoy proper meal at the right time; hence they tend to eat anything at any time. This irregular food eating habits decreases the metabolism of a normal human being and hence finally results in something which really nobody wants. Yes the result of decreased metabolism is weight gain.
Conclusion
Simply put, Modern urban living has changed our lives completely; they have made us addictive to junk foods, dependent on machines and also completely altered our normal eating habits. The result of these changes is that our bodies have become quite vulnerable for weight gain. It’s always advisable to eat junk food rarely, to do a little bit of workout and to have complete proper diet on fix time. If we simply follow simple rules of life then we can stay fit and healthy forever.
